Åsa is a true storyteller and her designs embrace both stories and unexpected functions, for example the kitchen towel that doubles as buntings, for those who are handy with needle and thread.

Her design work, as one part of the designer duo behind the folklore brand EmyLittle, is represented in the Nordiska museet’s permanent exhibition Power of Fashion – 300 years of clothing. The products were also chosen by Svensk Form to represent Sweden in the exhibition Swedish Love Stories at the design fair in Milano, 2009. She has a Master in Design History and Theory from Konstfack (University college of arts, crafts and design) and she is inspired by folklore, Japan, tales, art nouveau and arts and crafts movement.
